Two years in search of money, rain & blessings for Botswana
The photo featured on the front page of 'Pula, Pula, Pula' was taken at Broadhurst Primary School. The pupils decided to raise funds for DITSHWANELO's Children & Human Rights Programme and found a creative way to do so. They collected coins over a period of several weeks. A flower was then marked out on the school hall floor with tape and at a special assembly attended by Robyn Cox and Emily Ruhukwa, DITSHWANELO's Children's Rights Coordinator, one by one the classes filled their allocated petal or leaf with coins, creating a bronze and sliver flower.
